The ProFire was a hybrid style yoyo, featuring a fixed brass axle and was a cross between a Proyo and a Turbo Bumble Bee.  Playmaxx was seeking to open up a market for a mid-price-point yoyo and came up with an interior system close to the wood axle featured in a proyo, and a metal system featured in the Turbo Bumble Bee.  Essentially, the body is that of a Turbo Bumble Bee but with a fixed brass axle system.  The Profire eventually failed to make its mark as a top seller for Playmaxx and production was summarily discontinued.  Though it wasnt a huge Playmaxx seller, it still remains a yoyo at the top of any Playmaxx collection, especially in its GT form (butterfly shape.)
